Emmi Venna is a choreographer and dancer based between Berlin and Helsinki.
As a choreographer, Venna makes space for the enigma of dance and creates stage works that center movement as the primary source of creation. Venna’s processes are fueled by a deep curiosity towards the dancing body, a love for dance and art histories and a search for the magical potential of a performance situation.
During 2025-2027 Venna’s work is supported by Arts Promotion Centre Finland.
